Capstone Film: Self Reflection (2022)
Two major dilemmas that plague people throughout the world are depression and the fear of being alone. The feeling of loneliness can lead to self-degradation and sadness that seems insurmountable. We often find ourselves looking to others for validation and security but we can't always rely on that.
This animated short shows the effects of depression on a teenage boy and how, through adversity, he ultimately learned to look at himself in a new light. Just like him, many of us have to embark on our own journeys to learn to look within ourselves, appreciate our progress, be excited to grow, and to love who we are.
